Disney's "Mulan" will be remade on a large scale and may increase the actors' singing scenes

According to an exclusive report from foreign media thedisinsider, Disney's live-action film "Mulan" starring Liu Yifei is currently preparing for a large-scale reshoot.

According to sources close to the project, the film will undergo four months of reshoots starting this month and lasting until February 2020.

It is reported that although the first trailer of "Mulan" received a lot of praise, the film's internal test screenings earlier this year did not perform well. The Mushu dragon in the original animated film was replaced by a speechless phoenix, and unlike Disney's similar films, there are no singing scenes in the live-action "Mulan" movie.

thedisinsider said that the specific details are not yet clear, but the reshoot may involve important battle content, and whether the actors' singing scenes will be increased is still unknown. "Mulan" is scheduled to be released in North America on March 27, 2020.
