Marvel Studios executive: "Black Widow" is our best movie since "Avengers 4"

Marvel officially announced the popular superhero "Black Widow" independent film at SDCC 2019, and the film will be released in North American theaters on May 1, 2020. Recently, Victoria Alonso, executive vice president of Marvel Studios, said in a keynote speech that "Black Widow" is our best movie after "Avengers 4".

“We have a lot of stories to tell, and there are more than 6,000 characters in the Marvel story library, and there will be children who will tell these stories forever,” said Victoria Alonso, executive vice president of Marvel Studios, in a keynote speech at the CG confab SIGGRAPH on Monday, talking about the opportunities that the Disney+ platform brings to Marvel movies. Victoria Alonso smiled when she said, “(Black Widow’s) death is just another state of mind.”

Victoria Alonso also stressed the pressure to maintain the quality of Marvel films. She said: "If we don't make a good movie, it's our fault, but the internal pressure is much greater than the pressure from the media and fans. We try to do something different, which is a bit risky. But we can't keep repeating the same work."

Since Marvel's next film is the new independent film "Black Widow", which will be officially released on May 1, 2020, Victoria Alonso also said that "Black Widow is our best movie after 'Avengers 4'".
