The actor who plays Falcon has signed a contract with Marvel for 10 films

At the end of Avengers 4: Endgame, Captain America, played by Chris Evans, handed over his shield to Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie, symbolizing that he would become the new Captain America. The previous popular candidate, Winter Soldier, sent his blessing. In the comics, Falcon has indeed taken over the banner of Captain America in the recent plot development.

In a recent interview, the new Captain America Anthony Mackie revealed that this plot decision was not a whim, but was planned in advance, because he signed a contract with Marvel for a total of 10 films. When he signed the contract, Marvel had already planned the arrangements for Marvel movies in the next ten years.

Anthony Mackie has starred in six Marvel movies so far, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. (The post-credits scene in Thor: Ragnarok is not considered part of the contract.) This means that Mackie still has four more movies under contract, so perhaps Captain America's shield will continue to be passed down.

In addition, Mackie will also star in the TV series "Falcon and the Winter Soldier", which should be a contract outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In short, in the next few years, we can expect to see at least 4 new Marvel Cinematic Universe films starring the new Black America.
