Star Wars TV series "The Mandalorian" will be released on November 12! Setting details revealed

The live-action American TV series "The Mandalorian" based on "Star Wars" is a brand new attempt in the series. At the Star Wars Celebration yesterday (14), the premiere date of the series was announced - November 12 this year. In addition, many details about the setting of the series were also disclosed at the venue. Let's take a look.

The series will be directed by Dave Filoni. Filoni is no stranger to Star Wars fans, as his representative work is Star Wars Rebels. The story of The Mandalorian is set in the turbulent era after Star Wars 6: Return of the Jedi. A new order needs to be established among the remnants of the Empire, but the situation is inevitably very chaotic. The director and Lucasfilm CEO also said that they will look for every corner in the history of Star Wars that can be linked to the story of The Mandalorian, including the expanded universe, animation and novels.

The ceremony venue then welcomed the appearance of the leading actors. The three leading actors were Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano and Carl Weathers. Pascal played the "Red Viper" Oberyn Martell in the fourth season of the HBO series "Game of Thrones". The leading actress Gina is an actor and boxer who has participated in "Fast and Furious 6" and "Deadpool". Weathers' representative work is the 1987 version of the movie "Predator".

According to the setting, the protagonist "Mandalorian" played by Pascal engages in bounty hunting activities in pursuit of "the realization of fantasy." He is a mysterious lone gunman with a unique moral concept.

The heroine is set as a former rebel commando who is trying to find her place in society after the fall of the Empire. Carl Weathers plays a merchant who hires the "Mandalorian" to transport a mysterious cargo.

Screenwriter Favreau said on the spot that he wrote four "Mandalorian" stories before the team affirmed his creativity. He said that the final draft also condensed the contributions of other main creators of the team and would definitely not disappoint fans.

Although the venue did not release the highly anticipated official American TV series trailer in the end, Lucasfilm still provided a 4-minute behind-the-scenes montage to satisfy fans. As the official has not uploaded the source video yet, we can only find the live version recorded by the audience, so just take it as a way to feel the atmosphere of the scene!
