Marvel Studios denies that the Fantastic Four: First Step poster was generated using AI

With the official release of the trailer for "Fantastic Four: Step One", some viewers have questioned the film's poster, believing that Marvel once again used artificial intelligence to create it.

From this controversial poster, we can see that the fingers of several people at the front of the crowd have abnormal deformations, especially the hand holding the flag on the far left, which appears to have only four fingers.

In addition, this poster is not a real shot, but a result of cutting multiple characters together, because the face of the same female character is clearly shown under and to the left of the "We Love Fantastic Four" flag. This problem also occurs on the far left and far right of the crowd, which is also considered to be a problem caused by AI generation.

However, Marvel recently clarified to the foreign media "TheWrap": "Artificial intelligence was not used in the creation of these posters."

Faced with such a brief but unquestionable response, the audience can only attribute the error in the poster to Marvel Studios' lack of care. However, Marvel has previously used AI generation in the opening of the Disney+ series "Secret Invasion". The promotional poster of "Thunderbolts" also aroused doubts about the use of AI generation due to the strange shape of the right hand of Sentinel actor Lewis Pullman.
