The Lord of the Rings TV series focuses on the Second Age and tells the history of the Aragonese

As the most successful film adaptation of a fantasy novel in Hollywood history, "The Lord of the Rings" has become an insurmountable milestone in the fantasy film genre. However, Amazon's remake of "The Lord of the Rings" TV series means challenging this classic series of films. Recently, the official Twitter account of "The Lord of the Rings" TV series officially confirmed that the story time of the show is officially set in the Second Age.

The official "Lord of the Rings" TV series tweeted the words engraved on the ring: The One Ring controls all rings, the One Ring seeks all rings; the One Ring leads all rings, and the One Ring binds all rings in darkness. It also attached several TV series guide maps and said, "Welcome everyone to the Second Age."

Fans of "The Lord of the Rings" series should be well aware that the story background time of "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and the later "The Hobbit" are all in the Third Age of Middle-earth. The story of this TV series takes place in the Second Age and will tell the three stories of "The Rise of Sauron", "The Founding of Arnor and Gondor" and "The Alliance of Elves and Humans to Fight against the Lord of the Darkness".

The TV series map of The Lord of the Rings has recently updated the island of Númenor, which is considered the birthplace of the greatest human civilization (the Dúnedain in the movie). Númenor was described as a lost civilization in the Third Age, which is the story of The Lord of the Rings. When most people on the island stopped worshipping Ilúvatar and rebelled against the lesser gods, the Dúnedain on the island of Númenor split. This eventually led to the destruction of the island of Númenor and the death of most of the Dúnedain. The official appearance of Númenor on the map may be a hint that fans may see some of the past of the Dúnedain in the show.
