"The Wandering Earth" tops IMAX China's highest box office, surpassing 300 million yuan

This year, a blockbuster hit the box office during the Spring Festival, and it was "The Wandering Earth" produced by Beijing Culture. According to the latest news, the film has accumulated a box office of 300 million yuan in IMAX theaters in China, surpassing "Avengers: Infinity War" and becoming the highest-grossing IMAX film in China. At the same time, the film became the first IMAX film in China to have a single box office of over 300 million yuan.

IMAX is a movie projection system with a larger and clearer screen. It does not just refer to the huge screen, but to the entire projection system, which is very different from the ordinary movie projection system, including the projector, sound system, screen, and even the seats have to be rearranged.

Although IMAX movie tickets are much more expensive, it is still worthwhile to experience a passionate hard science fiction blockbuster like "The Wandering Earth".

As of the early morning of February 18, the cumulative box office of "The Wandering Earth" exceeded 3.8 billion, and the film has topped the North American box office for Chinese films in the past five years.
