Charlotte Brändström, director of Netflix's "The Witcher" TV series, confirmed that the TV series will be filmed in the Spanish archipelago - the Canary Islands in the future. Recently, Brändström also posted a photo of La Palma Island, the northwesternmost island of the Canary Islands, on her personal Instagram, with the title "Filming location for "The Witcher" TV series".

La Palma is a small but beautiful island located on a dormant volcano, with ravines, canyons, beaches and plenty of hills. Although some of the terrain is rugged, it is covered with green grass, which is also a beautiful place on earth.

As for why this place was chosen as the filming location, foreign fans have some speculations.
