Batman standalone movie may start filming in November this year

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Batman" independent film is likely to start filming in November 2019. Aaron Couch and Borys Kit, editors of foreign media THR, discussed this issue, and it seems that this independent film is likely to start filming in November 2019. Aaron Couch also feels that Ben Affleck may not play Batman.

When Couch questioned when exactly we could get news on the Batman standalone film cast, Kit said, "The script is basically there and it's finished, but Matt Reeves (director of the Planet of the Apes) is going to keep tweaking it and moving forward. I heard the studio wants to start shooting in November."

Batman has gone through a rather complicated process during the planning and pre-production stages. In 2017, Batman actor Ben Affleck announced that he would direct and star in a solo Batman film. Just a few weeks later, this news was shattered, Ben Affleck would not direct the film, but he would remain in the project as an actor and producer. Since then, various rumors have begun to surface that Ben Affleck will not play the role again, but will complete his DC Extended Universe schedule as Batman in DC's Suicide Squad 2.

Matt Reeves is best known for directing Planet Rise, but was announced as the film's screenwriter, co-producer, and director at a late stage. He said last year that he was planning to film a Batman movie in 2019, confirming that the film would not be a simple adaptation. He also said that Batman would be part of the DC Extended Universe.
