Farewell to the big screen, Falcon, Winter Soldier and Vision will all join Marvel's new TV series

Farewell to the big screen, Falcon, Winter Soldier and Vision will all join Marvel's new TV series

The Marvel Universe is so huge that it has given rise to a problem: every time you watch a movie or TV show, there are many heroes, but the audience only really pays attention to a few superheroes. For example, in Avengers 4, most people pay attention to Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, Chris Evans' Captain America, and Chris Hemsworth's Thor. Everyone knows that there are many other heroes in the movie, but it's really hard to keep up.

Therefore, it is necessary to develop some other potential heroic characters, and they don’t necessarily have to be in the movies. Disney has recently announced some details of its streaming service TV series. We already know that Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki will have a new TV series. Now there is news that Captain America’s two good brothers, Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), will co-star in a new TV series. This new series is written by Malcolm Spellman, the screenwriter of Empire. That is to say, although Disney has announced that it will develop multiple Marvel series, this is the first work to enter the creative stage.

It is unknown what adventures the Winter Soldier and Falcon will have after leaving Captain America. We all know that Chris Evans will no longer play the role of Captain America. There will definitely be some tragic passages waiting for us in "Avengers 4", and it should also introduce the whereabouts of these two superheroes, paving the way for the new series.

However, this is not the only information about Disney's new series. There are reports that Paul Bettany will reprise his role as Vision in Scarlet Witch's TV series. These two characters naturally have a lot of stories to develop, and of course they need to be re-grounded in "Avengers 4". Of course, Marvel can also choose to separate the TV series and the movies as a parallel world, but it is generally unlikely.

After Marvel's full success in the film industry, it seems that they will make plans for TV series next, but their previous attempts in this area have not been good, and many series have been cancelled this year. Hopefully, there will be a different ending after using the movie characters this time.

Marvel has not yet announced its Phase 4 film schedule after Avengers 4 except for Spider-Man: Far From Home, but after the old characters have been cast in TV dramas, Marvel is expected to introduce new characters to fill the film. I just hope that Marvel and Disney can strike a good balance and not dig too many holes in the plot.
