The Hollywood sci-fi blockbuster "Predator" continues to be strong in China. Although it is the first time that the "Predator" IP has landed in mainland China in 30 years, the official announcement recently stated that the film's domestic box office has exceeded the 200 million yuan mark.

"Predator" is the fourth part of the main storyline of the "Predator" series. It has previously collaborated with Alien to launch "Alien vs. Predator 1" and "Alien vs. Predator 2".

The film was produced by two of the world's top special effects companies, including the famous British special effects production company MPC and the well-known special effects company RSP. MPC has produced blockbusters such as the entire Harry Potter series, X-Men: The Last Stand, 10,000 BC, and Pirates of the Caribbean 5. RSP's representative works include The Hunger Games series, Wolverine series, and Gravity.

Officials say they have made the Predator's signature "invisibility" effect even more sophisticated than the first one. In the current film, the effect has been refined into a three-dimensional flash field, with flashes of light that only last for a few seconds and the characters disappearing from sight in alternating combinations.

"Predator" is produced by 20th Century Fox Film Corporation and directed by Shane Black, the director of "Iron Man 3". The story tells that the Predator once again went to Earth to fight with humans and was captured. The Ultimate Predator, whose DNA was upgraded, came to Earth not to rescue but to kill his own kind. A battle for survival will begin between humans, Predators, and the Ultimate Predator.
