Predator: IGN 6.5: The beginning is good but the ending is terrible

IGN released a review of "Predator" (2018) today. This new "Predator" film directed by Shane Black and starring Boyd Holbrook scored 6.5 points, which is acceptable. IGN editor JIM VEJVODA said that he reviewed the film in advance at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film will be released in the United States on September 14.

With its raunchy sense of humor, eclectic cast of characters, hardcore carnage and action, Predator (2018) did a lot to revive the 31-year-old series. But everything was ruined by the chaotic performances at the end, and a disappointing ending that ended the otherwise joyous and exciting plot.

Overall review:

In many ways, Predator is a throwback to the beloved 1987 classic Predator: it contains many of the same elements, such as the friendship between its absurdly macho protagonists, the depraved wisdom, and the primal battle between man and monster. It's a shame that everything gets messy in the second half hour of the film, which seriously derails and contradicts the content promised.

Rating: 6.5 Good

"Predator" started off well enough, but it couldn't hold on and "crashed".
