Sci-fi war movie "Shanghai Fortress" wrapped up with Lu Han and Shu Qi as the lead actors

Recently, the film "Shanghai Fortress" announced that it has officially finished filming and released a set of behind-the-scenes photos. The film is led by Lu Han and Shu Qi, and other stars such as Gao Yixiang have also joined.

"Shanghai Fortress" is adapted from Jiang Nan's novel of the same name and directed by Teng Huatao. The film is set in the future and tells the story of a group of passionate young people resisting alien invaders. Alien dark forces raided the earth in an attempt to seize the energy treasures that humans depend on for survival. The earth was hit hard, the borders of countries were broken, and the elites of various countries formed a joint army to unite to resist the alien invaders. In the few remaining energy cities, they built energy fortresses called "bubble defenses" to resist the alien attacks. With the fall of fortress cities such as New York, Tokyo, and New Delhi, Shanghai, China, became the only hope for mankind.

In the film, Lu Han plays the male protagonist Jiang Yang, who enters Shanghai Fortress by chance and becomes a reserve member. Shu Qi plays Lin Lan, a capable and sharp commander. The film took five years from preparation to completion and will be released nationwide in 2019.
