Liam Neeson's "The New Gray" has been announced to be released on July 12, 2025. The film is a reboot of the nonsensical comedy "The Gray", and the protagonist may be the son of the original male protagonist, Lieutenant Frank Trouble. Akiva Schaffer ("Chicago and Didi" and "Neighborhood Watch") will direct and Seth MacFarlane and others will serve as producers. The 1988 film "Frankenstein" was directed by David Zucker and starred Leslie Nielsen, Priscilla Presley, Ricardo Montalban and George Kennedy. It tells the story of Frank, a white-haired detective, who beat up a group of terrorists and then foiled a plot to murder the Queen of England. It is hailed as a representative work of "nonsense" comedies in Europe and the United States. The 72-year-old "rescue master" Liam Neeson seems to be tired of acting and has switched to comedy. |
