The comic "Liuli Long Long" will resume serialization next month after more than a year of suspension

The school fantasy manga "Ruri Ryuu" created by Japanese cartoonist Masaoki Mato tells the story of a high school student, Aoki Ruri, who wakes up one morning and suddenly finds horns growing on her head, and then gradually develops the characteristics of a dragon in her life.

"Liuli Ryuu" was originally a short manga published by Masaoki Mato in "Jump GIGA" in 2020. It was later serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in June 2022 and received a good response.

However, before Aoki Ruri could fully display her hybrid talent of a dragon and a human with horns on her head and breathing fire from her mouth, the manga was announced to be on hold due to the illness of Masaoki Mato.

During this period, the official updated the author's status at the end of last year and attached a handwritten letter from Masaoki Mato, stating that his physical condition has improved and the comic work is expected to return in 2024.

Subsequently, the official announced the news recently that "Liuli Ryuuyuu" will officially resume publication in March, and will first serialize episodes 7 to 11 in the physical version of "Weekly Shonen Jump", and will be transferred to the digital version of "Weekly Shonen Jump" and "Jump +" for cross-serialization after April 22.
