The Last of Us Season 2 New Cast Smarzino Joins as Jesse

Previously, HBO's The Last of Us series officially confirmed that Kaitlyn Dever will play Abby in Season 2. Now it has been officially confirmed that Young Mazino, the actor from The Last of Us, will join the cast to play Jesse.

Yang Mazzino's outstanding performance in "The Untold Story" impressed many people. The 32-year-old Korean-American actor was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor at the 75th Primetime Primetime Awards.

In the game The Last of Us 2, Jesse is a friend of the two protagonists, Ellie and Dina, and lives with them in Jackson. The official description of him is: "He is the pillar of the community, always putting the needs of others before his own, sometimes at a painful price."
