Ted prequel trailer and first poster released

The R-rated comedy film "Ted" will have a prequel series, the first poster of which has been revealed and will be broadcast on Peacock on January 11, 2024.

Trailer:

The first season of the seven-episode series "Ted" is set in 1993, with Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) and his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), as well as John's parents Marty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blair (Giorgia Whigham) living together in their old home in Framingham, Massachusetts. Ted may be a bad influence on John, but at the end of the day, he is a loyal friend who is always willing to give everything for his friendship.

There are two Ted movies, both directed by Seth MacFarlane, released in 2012 and 2015, starring Mark Wahlberg and voiced by Seth MacFarlane. Seth MacFarlane is the writer, executive producer and director of the prequel series Ted, Paperman. Seth MacFarlane also directed the R-rated comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West and the series The Orville.
