The original work of "Moriarty the Patriot" was written by Takeuchi Ryosuke and illustrated by Miyoshi Teru. It features the most sinister and cunning Professor Moriarty in history, and Sherlock Holmes becomes his biggest enemy!

"Moriarty the Patriot" is adapted from the famous detective novel "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes". The time comes to the end of the 19th century, in London during the most prosperous period of the British Empire. Moriarty is the eldest son of the Earl who is extremely resentful of the deep-rooted class system in this country. One day, he meets his brother who returns from an orphanage, thus starting a great plan to purify the world. The so-called smartest reasoning detective Sherlock Holmes will also be involved in this secret battle. Can Moriarty's great plan be realized?
