Nicholas Hoult to play Luthor in Superman: Legacy

There has been a lot of news about the DC superhero movie "Superman: Legacy" directed by James Gunn recently. According to multiple sources, James Gunn saw the shadow of Lex Luthor he expected in the famous British actor Nicholas Hoult.

He has played Hank "Beast" McCoy in "X-Men: First Class" (including subsequent works), Knuckles in "Mad Max: Fury Road", and the fantasy comedy "Rainfield" co-starring with Nicolas Cage.

Previously, "Superman: Legacy" also announced the casting of many actors, including David Corenceway as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabella Merced as Hawkgirl, Dee Gaethje as Mr. Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, and Maria Gabriela de Faria who was recently revealed to play "The Engineer".

"Superman: Legacy" will serve as the opening work of the new DC Universe and is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025.
