Doctor Who confirms release dates for three special anniversary episodes

"Doctor Who", a TV series deeply loved by the audience, celebrated its 60th anniversary this year. Last month, the official also confirmed that three episodes of 60th anniversary special episodes will be officially launched in November, and the specific time was finally announced recently.

The first of three episodes will air on BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday 25 November, with David Tennant returning as the Fourteenth Doctor and Catherine Tate reprising her role as Donna Noble.

The first episode, titled "The Star Beast," sees the Doctor and Donna come face to face again after many years - but exactly how and why is yet to be revealed. The second episode, "The Wild Blue Yonder," will air on December 2, and the third episode, "The Giggle," will air on December 9.

In addition, the first episode of Doctor Who: Unleashed will be broadcast immediately after The Star Beast. This behind-the-scenes series will be broadcast after each new episode, and viewers who have the conditions can watch it on BBC Three or BBC iPlayer.

At the same time, iPlayer will also offer everything from spin-offs such as The Sarah Jane Adventures to behind-the-scenes episodes of Doctor Who Confidential from November 1, a collection of more than 800 episodes including interviews with cast and crew, written documents and previously unheard audio material.
