'The Boys' spin-off 'V Generation' renewed for second season

Amazon Prime Video announced today that the spin-off series of "The Boys" "V Generation" has been renewed for a second season. The first season of "V Generation" has 8 episodes, and the last episode will be aired on November 3.

Generation V expands the universe of Prime Video's superhero satire The Boys, introducing Godolphin University, which aims to train the next generation of superheroes - of course, this is still The Boys world, so there are still super powers, corporate intrigue and plenty of gore.

"V Generation" takes place at the same time as "The Boys" Season 4, premiering on September 29. The plot tells the story of young superhumans who will experience "Hunger Games"-style tests at Godolphin University's crime-fighting academy run by Vought Corporation.
