Bethesda and Amazon announced that the live-action series "Fallout" will be broadcast in 2024 and will be set in Los Angeles, USA. Amazon has released a poster for the Fallout TV series to coincide with the Fallout episode trailer released at the Cologne Gamescom in Germany. The trailer was shown at the Star Cologne showcase and has not been released publicly, but Bethesda director Todd Howard said that a "deeper reveal" of the Fallout episode is coming soon. The trailer shows marching Brotherhood of Steel soldiers, a shootout in a western town, and a woman emerging from a shelter for the first time. Fallout TV Series Cologne Trailer: Howard said: "One of the movies that inspired Starfield was Interstellar, which was written by Jonathan Nolan (director Christopher Nolan's brother). "I know Jonah, and I've always wanted to do a Fallout TV series. So, Jonah and I talked about it, and we've been working on the upcoming Fallout TV series, and we wanted to give you a sneak peek." Fallout was released in 1997. The most recent game in the series is the 2018 online multiplayer game Fallout 76, and the 14th season, "Fight for Freedom," was launched on Tuesday. The last game in the series was Fallout 4 in 2015, which was also the best-selling one, with 12 million copies shipped on the first day. Last year, Bethesda said that "Fallout 4" will receive a free next-generation upgrade in 2023, available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, adding a large number of new features to improve game performance. |
