The author of "Sakamoto, what can I do for you?" died at the age of 36

Today (August 16), the official Twitter account of the manga magazine "ハルタ" announced that the cartoonist Sano Nanami, who wrote the popular manga "I'm Sakamoto, what can I do for you?", died of cancer on August 5 at the age of 36.

Japanese female manga artist Nanami Sano was born in Nishinomiya, Hyōgo Prefecture. She debuted as a manga artist in 2010 with the short story "Sugar-free Coffee" published in "Fellows!" (enterbrain). In 2013, her serialized work "I'm Sakamoto, what can I do for you?" won the Comic Natalie Award. The work was later made into a TV animation from April to June 2016.
