Netflix's The Witcher Season 4 production delayed to 2024

Netflix's The Witcher Season 4 production delayed to 2024

According to wizard news website Redanian Intelligence, the fourth season of Netflix's "The Witcher", which was originally scheduled to start filming in September 2023 and end in May 2024, has been postponed. Now the series will not start filming until 2024 at the earliest.

The exact reason for the delay is unclear, but it is likely related to the ongoing Writers and Actors Guild strike. Although Season 4 was originally intended to be filmed during the Writers Guild strike, the subsequent SAG strike may have complicated things.

Considering that The Witcher Season 3 took 14 months to shoot and produce, if The Witcher Season 4 starts filming in 2024, we might not be able to see the show until 2025 at the earliest.
