Official reminder after Cavill leaves The Witcher crew: He will still be in the third season!

Actor Henry Cavill has confirmed that he will leave Netflix's "The Witcher" crew. However, he will continue to play the protagonist Geralt in the third season. In order to remind the audience, Netflix has exaggeratedly promoted his continued performance in the third season.

In the UK, officials launched huge laser projections near the Shard in London, on the South Bank, at Edinburgh Castle and on the White Cliffs of Dover, saying: "Yes, he is still Geralt in season 3."

So Cavill will indeed continue to star in the third season of "The Witcher", but starting from the fourth season, Liam Hemsworth will be responsible for the role of White Wolf.

Dandelion actor Joey Batey discussed the new actor taking up the mantle in a recent interview with GamesRadar+. He said: "We've been emailing and exchanging lines from our favourite books and stuff like that. I don't think any of us could offer advice on playing Geralt, but he's throwing himself into it. His training schedule is crazy, and he's been devouring the books."

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Anya Chalotra, who plays Yennefer, said that the rumors that Cavill had a dispute with the creative team over the portrayal of Geralt were not the main reason for his departure. She said: "When we are all on set, we are committed to playing these characters and bringing them to life in the best way possible. This is exactly what I feel from Henry every day."
