Warner Bros. taps Peter Jackson to reboot 'Lord of the Rings' movie

According to foreign media reports, the reboot of "The Lord of the Rings" movie is in full swing.

Earlier this year, Warner Bros. film chiefs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdi visited New Zealand to reconnect with Peter Jackson and discuss future films.

Warner and the Swedish Embresser Group still own the film rights. Their stories focus on the Third Age, and the new films are expected to be about Gandalf, Bilbo and Aragorn.
