"Dune 2" first revealed stills and set photos, to be released in North America in November this year

Legendary Pictures' new film "Dune 2" recently revealed the first batch of stills and work photos of director Denis Villeneuve through "Vanity Fair" magazine. The film will be released on November 3 this year, and the first trailer is expected to be released within two weeks.

Earlier at the Film Industry Expo in Las Vegas, the director said that 100% of the film was shot with IMAX, while only 40% of the scenes in Dune 1 were shot with IMAX cameras. Earlier, IMAX fanatic Christopher Nolan only used IMAX cameras for 60% of the scenes in Tenet, which lasted about 90 minutes. This time Villeneuve wants to "set a record."

In "Dune 2", the male lead Timothée Chalamet also revealed that the scene where he rode a sandworm in the sequel was real shooting, which means that the crew made a sandworm model rather than pure CG production.
