The first PV of the light-adapted TV animation "The Weakest Tamer Starts His Trash Picking Journey"

The official website of the TV anime "The Weakest Tamer Starts His Trash Pickup Journey", adapted from the light novel by Honobonoru 500, recently released the first trailer and key visual of the anime. The trailer revealed the voice actors and staff of the anime, and confirmed that the anime will premiere in 2024.

Honobonoru 500 first began serializing the novel on the "Let's Become Novelists" website in November 2018, and it is still being serialized. The single volume comes with illustrations drawn by Nama. TOBUX began publishing the first volume in November 2019, and released the eighth volume in November 2022, and will release the ninth volume on June 10.

Fuyu Fuyu began serializing the manga on TOBUX's online manga website in February 2020, and released the 4th volume in November 2022. The 5th volume will be released on June 15th.

"The Weakest Tamer Starts His Trash Picking Journey" describes a girl named Ivy who was abandoned by her parents because her ability as a trainer was rated "no star" and she was nearly killed by the village. So she escaped from the village and met a slime she named "Kong", and embarked on a journey alone.
