The live-action film "The Little Mermaid" will be released in mainland China and North America on May 26. The film is directed by Rob Marshall and stars Halle Berry as the Little Mermaid, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, and Melissa McCarthy as the octopus sea witch Ursula. The film is adapted from the 1989 animated film version and tells the story of the Little Mermaid who lives in the sea and resolutely gives up her country and race after falling in love with the prince, becoming a human and pursuing love.
