"Barbie" live-action movie Chinese trailer to be released in July

Warner Bros. released the official trailer for the live-action version of "Barbie". The film is directed by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Greta Gerwig ("Em and Them," "Lady Bird"). The protagonists Barbie and Kenny are played by Academy Award-nominated actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling respectively. The film will be released in North America in July.

Story summary:

Living in Barbieland is about being in a perfect place with a perfect life, unless you're having a full-blown existential crisis or you happen to be Kenny.

Barbie is written by director Greta Gerwig and Oscar-nominated Noah Boback (Marriage Story, Family Guy), based on the Barbie doll series produced by Mattel. Producers are Oscar-nominated David Heyman (Marriage Story, Gravity), Margot Robbie, Tom Ekri and Robbie Brynner; executive producers are Michael Sharp, Jesse McNamara, Inone Kretz, Courtenay Valenti, Toby Emmerich and Kate Adams.
