The manga "NPCs in the Village Building Game Are Also Living People" will be completed in volume 6

Kadokawa recently released the sixth volume of the manga "Don't you think that NPCs in village building games are also living people?", which is adapted from the light novel written by Hirukuma and drawn by Kazuhiko Morita. At the same time, in the official promotion, it was mentioned that this will be the final volume of the manga. The sixth volume will be released on April 10.

The comic and the novel tell the story of a protagonist who became a shut-in because he failed to protect his sister when she was attacked. He was 30 years old and still unemployed, but suddenly received a very real game from nowhere. In the game, he plays the role of a god, and his goal is to protect the villagers who believe in him from the monsters that keep attacking. During the game, he was gradually moved by the villagers' courage to survive, and various items offered by the villagers were also sent to his home. In order to help the characters in the game more, he finally plucked up the courage to go out of the house, and the attitudes of the people around him and his own life gradually changed...

The manga first began serialization in November 2019 through Kadokawa's Young Ace Up! website, and volume 5 was released by Kadokawa on October 7, 2022.

The original light novel was first serialized on the "Let's Become Novelists!" website in February 2019 and was completed in December 2020. Kadokawa released the first volume of the novel in October 2019, and then released the completed third volume in November 2020.
