TV series "Poker Face" renewed for second season and is called "American Conan"

The crime-solving comedy "Poker Face," directed by "Knives Out" director Rian Johnson, has been renewed for a second season by streaming service Peacock.

Each episode of "Poker Face" focuses on a different murder case and is jokingly called the "American version of Conan" by netizens. However, the heroine Charlie is even more powerful and has her own lie detector.

"Poker Face" is different from most crime dramas. It tells a story in each episode, and the crime process is presented to the audience at the beginning of each episode, so everyone knows "who" did it. The suspense lies in what details the heroine learned to know it.

Charlie has an innate talent. She can tell at a glance whether the other person is lying. Because of this "superpower", she is accidentally involved in a series of murders.

The first season of "Poker Face" has a total of 10 episodes. The seventh episode will be aired on Thursday, US time, and a new episode will be aired every week thereafter. The 10th episode will be aired on March 9.
