"Falcon and the Winter Soldier" will bring surprises and early Marvel movie characters will return

The Marvel Universe spin-off "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" may bring more surprises to fans beyond their expectations. The screenwriter of the series, Derek Kolstad, talked about the story of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" in a recent radio show and revealed some exciting details about the MCU.

Derek Kolstad said on the show: "I would say that some of the characters from the early Marvel movies will return... We're splitting them up and redesigning them in a way that changes the structure of the story. It's f-cking awesome."

It was previously reported that Bartuk the Leaper, who appeared in Captain America 2, and Baron Zemo in Captain America 3 will return in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This time, the screenwriter's statement of "early Marvel movies" has given everyone a lot of room for imagination.

The story of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" will revolve around two original supporting characters. Derek Kolstad expressed that he was proud and honored for its birth. It is interesting to put minor characters in the position of protagonists, which will allow everyone to have a clearer understanding of them.

There is currently no exact release date for "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier". The show was originally scheduled to be released in August 2020, but has now been postponed to 2021.
