Shueisha launches recruitment for the first Digimon Manga Award

Today, February 12, Shueisha announced the establishment of the first Digimon series manga award and launched a recruitment campaign to discover, cultivate and reward comic talents about the Digimon series.

The Digimon Manga Awards have broad recruitment criteria, regardless of whether the author is a professional or amateur. As long as you have talent and creativity that are recognized by the judges, you can win a prize of up to 1 million yen, and also get the opportunity to serialize a new manga. Even if you are selected as a candidate, you will receive a reward of 50,000 yen.

The "Digimon" game was born on the handheld platform in 1997, and the TV animation was first broadcast in 1999, which quickly became a global topic and was widely welcomed by as many as 58 countries and regions in the world. The new TV animation "Digimon Ghost Game" is currently being broadcast on Fuji TV.
