The female director of the live-action series "Halo" left 343

Kiki Wolfkill, who oversaw the "Halo Transmedia" series, the live-action series on Paramount+, has left 343, but will remain at Microsoft. Since the live-action series aired, the reception from fans and the media has gone from mild to negative, with many criticizing the TV series for being out of touch with the game.

Wolfkill has been with 343 since 2008, first as an executive producer on Halo 4 and more recently overseeing the launch of the Halo TV series. For the past three months, Wolfkill has been president of Xbox IP Extensions and Entertainment, according to his LinkedIn profile.

It is worth mentioning that the "Halo" TV series has been renewed for a second season.

Recently, Xbox boss Phil Spencer was interviewed by IGN, and he insisted that 343 is still crucial to the future of Halo. In the same interview, Spencer was also asked whether the 10 years of support previously promised for Halo: Infinite would still be there, but Spencer chose to avoid the question.
