The live-action version of "Poludice V: Legacy" is an exclusive production of the Philippine GMA Entertainment Group under the authorization and full supervision of Japan's Toei. It is directed by Mark Reyes, with Miguel Tanfelix playing the protagonist Steve Armstrong (Gou Kenichi in the overseas version) and Martin del Rosario playing the first villain Prince Zardos (Prince Heniel in the overseas version). The film will be officially released in 2023.

The original work of "Super Electromagnetic Robot Polydis V" is the second work in the "Nagahama Tadao Romantic Robot Series" directed by Nagahama Tadao. It inherits the setting of five robots combined and was broadcast on Japan's Asahi TV in 1977. The story is based on the struggle between aliens and the earth. In addition to the battle of super robots, it also describes the dramatic story of father-son affection and brotherly feud, as well as the class system and slave revolution.
