Animation "Ice Sword Magician Unifies the World" releases characters and first episode trailer

Japan's TBS TV station has released three character trailers and the first episode trailer for the TV animation "The Magician of the Ice Sword Will Unite the World", which is adapted from the light novel of the same name written by Nana Mikoshiba. The character videos include three female characters: Rebecca Bradley, Alisa Griffith and Amelia Ross.

The anime will premiere on TBS on January 5 and will also be available on other channels and streaming services in Japan.

Plot summary:

Arnold School of Magic is a famous school that has produced many great magicians. The young boy Ray White is the only magician from an ordinary family in the history of the school. He is surrounded by nobles and classmates who come from magician families. He is looked down upon by others. But people don't know. He is the one who achieved many victories in the Far East Campaign and is now praised by the world as the strongest of the seven magicians in the world - the "Magician of the Ice Sword". While being despised as a withered magician, he soon showed his power to those around him...! ? This is the story of a genius who has been frozen for a long time and melts the ice -

"The Magician of the Ice Sword Will Unify the World" was first published on the "I Want to Be a Novelist" website in October 2019, and the first volume of the light novel was released in July 2020. Kodansha released the 7th volume of the novel on December 28, 2022.

The manga adaptation of the same name was launched on Kodansha's "Magazine Pocket" APP in June 2020. The 11th volume of the manga will be released on January 6.
