Bona Film Group lost 150 million yuan in the third quarter of 2022

According to domestic media reports, Bona Film Group lost 150 million yuan in the third quarter of 2022. Although Bona's "Changjin Lake" and "Changjin Lake: Watergate Bridge" successively won the box office champion in Chinese film history and the box office champion in the 2022 Spring Festival, many subsequent films have been cold at the box office.

The prospectus shows that Bona Film Group has invested over 100 million yuan in films that have not been released, including "Ama Goes to the Army" and "Unknown". Among them, "Ama Goes to the Army" was completed as early as April 2021, and Bona Film Group invested 128 million yuan in the film, but as of now, the film has not been released. "Unknown" has a production fee of 150 million yuan, and it was just officially announced at midnight on the New Year's Eve of 2023 that it will be airborne in this year's Spring Festival, and will be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year in 2023.

Previously, Bona President Yu Dong said that "Avatar 2" is not suitable for Chinese audiences.
