Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 New Characters Preview: Airing in July 2023

The Jump Festa '23 event held today (December 17) announced the character introduction video of the second season of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" animation, as well as the premiere time in July 2023. In Japan, the animation will be broadcast on MBS and TBS and affiliated channels.

The second season of the animation will be broadcast for two consecutive periods (half a year), and this time it will adapt the comic plots including the "Kaijima·Tamasuru" chapter and the "Shibuya Incident" chapter.

The first season of the anime adaptation of "Jujutsu Kaisen" premiered in October 2020, with a total of 24 episodes. It gained huge popularity after it was broadcast. The subsequent "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" theatrical version was released in Japan in December 2021, and it became one of the highest-grossing Japanese animated films.
