2018 Game of the Year "God of War" will launch a live-action TV series

According to foreign media reports, Sony's 2018 acclaimed game "God of War" will launch a live-action TV series, and it has been confirmed that it will be broadcast through Amazon's streaming platform Prime Video. It is reported that the series will be produced by Rafe Judkins of "The Wheel of Time".

According to Amazon, the story of the live-action TV series "God of War" is adapted from the popular game in 2018. It tells the story of the God of War Kratos and his son embarking on a journey to scatter his wife's ashes. During their journey, they fight new gods and monsters and test the emotional bond between father and son.

Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, writers of Iron Man, will write the script for the God of War live-action series, and Cory Barlog, the game director of God of War, will serve as the executive producer of the series. The series will be jointly produced by Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.
