Thor: Love and Thunder new stills reveal Thor meditating

Today (April 29), new stills of Thor 4: Love and Thunder were released, showing Thor becoming more mature in his search for inner peace. He is meditating and looks much thinner.

Thor: Love and Thunder is about the God of Thunder embarking on a journey he has never faced before - to find inner peace. But his peaceful life is disrupted by a galactic killer called "Gorr the God Butcher", whose goal is to destroy all gods. To deal with this threat, Thor gets the help of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). To Thor's surprise, his ex-girlfriend can use his Thor's hammer and become a powerful female Thor. Together, they embark on a thrilling cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's revenge and stop him before it's too late.

Thor 4 is a film produced by Marvel Studios, directed by Taika Waititi and produced by Kevin Feige and Bard Winderbaum. Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Matt Damon, and Taika Waititi, the director of Thor 3, return. Christian Bale joins the cast as the villain Gorr, Russell Crowe and others also appear, and the Guardians of the Galaxy also make an appearance. The film will be released in North America on July 8, 2022.
