Among them, Shanghai Animation Film Studio will restart the classic animation "The Story of Afanti" and launch the brand new first season "The Story of New Afanti".

This means that this classic work, which first aired in 1980, has returned to the audience again after 45 years.

"The Story of Afanti" was first broadcast in mainland China on January 1, 1980. It was produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio, directed by Qu Jianfang, co-written by Ling Shu and Qu Jianfang, and with Bi Ke, Qiu Yuefeng and others as the main voice actors.

The cartoon features the legendary character Afanti as the protagonist, and shows his wisdom and humor through more than a dozen short stories. Afanti is not only a symbol of wisdom, but also hates evil and loves to fight injustice. In his unique way, he frightens the greedy and stupid Bai and the king. He cleverly punishes those ugly behaviors.

This reboot not only allows the older generation of audiences to relive their childhood memories, but also hopes to attract a new generation of young audiences and pass on the charm of this classic IP.
