Ghost of Tsushima game adaptation movie screenwriter confirmed

According to Deadline, PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures have announced the screenwriter for the film adaptation of the game "Ghost of Tsushima": Takashi Doscher.

Doscher previously wrote and directed the sci-fi romance Only, the thriller Still and the ESPN documentary A Fighting Chance.

The Ghost of Tsushima movie is currently in early development and is being directed by John Wick director Chad Stahelski. The film is the second movie produced by PlayStation Productions after Uncharted.

PlayStation Productions was founded in 2019 and focuses on working with Sony Pictures to adapt its game IPs into movies and TV series.

PlayStation Productions is also currently producing The Last of Us and the Chariots of Fire TV series.
