Netflix animation "Thermae Roma" announced that Kenjiro Tsuda will star in the film and will be released on March 28

Netflix recently announced that the famous high school animation "Thermae Roma", adapted from the manga of the same name by Mari Yamazaki, will be released exclusively online on March 28. The protagonist Lucis has been confirmed to be played by Kenjiro Tsuda, so stay tuned.

•The story of "Thermae Romae" takes place in the Hadrian era, that is, the period of the Five Good Emperors of Ancient Rome in about 130 AD. The bathhouse designer Lucius Mudestre (played by Hiroshi Abe) lived here. His serious personality and conservative design gradually failed to keep up with the development of the times, and eventually he lost his beloved job. Lucius, who was in a low mood, went to a public bathhouse to take a bath at the invitation of his friends. Unexpectedly, he traveled through the time tunnel and came to a public bathhouse in Japan in the 21st century, triggering a series of funny stories.

•"Thermae Roma" will be produced by NAZ, directed by Tetsuya Wadani and written by Yuichiro Momose. The protagonist Lucius has been confirmed to be played by Kenjiro Tsuda. More detailed information will be released soon, so stay tuned for follow-up reports.
