Spider-Man: No Return surpasses Avatar in North American box office, ranking third in film history

Spider-Man: No Homecoming earned another $1.6 million in North American box office on Valentine's Day, bringing its total North American box office to $760.9 million, officially surpassing Avatar's $760 million and rising to third place in North American film history. The global total box office exceeded $1.8 billion, reaching $1.804 billion, ranking sixth in global film history.

Spider-Man: No Homecoming will be released in North America on December 17, 2021. In the film, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) team up again to fight a time-space melee after Avengers 4. Spider-Man uses Doctor Strange's ability to manipulate time and space to open a time-space channel, triggering an unprecedented crisis. Spider-Man will wear an all-powerful battle suit to fight against the five enemies who have gathered across time and space for the first time in film history.
