Uncharted has been released in 15 regions and has an initial box office of 21.5 million US dollars

Although the Uncharted movie will not be released in North America until February 18, the live-action movie adapted from the game starring Holland has begun to be released in 15 overseas markets this past weekend, with international box office exceeding 21.5 million US dollars, which looks to be a very strong start.

According to Variety, the live-action Uncharted film had the best box office in the UK, earning $6.4 million. Compared to other films released during the pandemic, Uncharted's opening was 12% higher than Eternals, 18% higher than Black Widow, and 21% higher than Shang-Chi.

Next week, the Uncharted movie will be released not only in the United States and Canada, but also in Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South America, etc. With $21.5 million already in the bag, the movie will soon recoup its $120 million production cost.

Last weekend, Death on the Nile took first place in the U.S. domestic box office with $20.7 million and a global total of $33.5 million. By comparison, Murder on the Orient Express opened with $28.7 million and a global total of $352 million.
