Spider-Man: No Return surpasses Avengers 3 in North American box office

"Spider-Man: No Homecoming" grossed another $5.15 million in North America on Friday, bringing its cumulative North American box office to $683 million, surpassing "Avengers: Infinity War"'s $678.8 million and rising to fifth place on the North American film box office history list.

Spider-Man: No Homecoming was released in North America on December 17, 2021, and the release date in mainland China is yet to be determined. This film follows Spider-Man: Far From Home, telling the story of Spider-Man's life falling into chaos due to the exposure of his identity, and even being protested by people all over the world. In order to change all this, Spider-Man went to seek help from Doctor Strange, but unexpectedly, a greater crisis followed after the multiverse was opened.
