New trailer for the TV series "Hot Blood" adapted from the bestselling book about the rise and fall of Uber

Super Pumped has released a new trailer for Season 1. This is an upcoming TV series from Showtime about the wildly successful Silicon Valley startup Uber. Season 1 will revolve around Uber and its former CEO Travis Kalanick, who will be played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

New trailer for "Hot Blood":

The first season of the series, which will be based on the best-selling book of the same name by New York Times reporter Mike Issac, will follow the "wild, loud, arrogant, dark, reckless, excessive, ridiculous, destructive, outrageous" founder of Uber before he stepped down as CEO in 2017 after investors demanded changes.

The new trailer includes some factual stories, like someone asking, “Is This Legal?” to laughter, or a quote from Bill Gurley, an early Uber investor and former board member played by Kyle Chandler:

“The best thing about Travis is that he’s willing to break through walls, and the worst thing about him is that he thinks everything is a wall.”

"Hot Blood" will premiere on February 27.
