Harry Potter spin-off Quidditch to be renamed after author's anti-LGBT comments

JK Rowling, the original author of the classic masterpiece "Harry Potter" who is famous all over the world, has recently attracted a lot of trouble for making anti-LGBT remarks. According to British media reports on the 20th local time, the Quidditch Association derived from the "Harry Potter" work initiated a proposal to change its name.

• “Quidditch” is the Chinese translation of Quidditch, an important aerial team competition sport in the Harry Potter series. It is a ball game in the magical world played by wizards riding broomsticks. In reality, Quidditch originated among American students in 2005 and has become popular in more than 40 countries. Its purpose is to encourage and welcome LGBT players.

• Rowling said not long ago, "I understand and respect transgender people, but erasing the concept of biological sex prevents many people from meaningfully discussing their lives. I am just telling the truth, not out of hatred." This caused an uproar and she was labeled "JK Rowling is a radical feminist who excludes transgender people."
