Marvel's Captain Marvel 2 wraps up after 160 days of filming

After 160 days of filming, Marvel's "Captain Marvel 2: Marvel Alliance" has now been completed.

Captain Marvel 2 is the sequel to the 2019 film Captain Marvel and the 2021 series Ms. Marvel, which premiered on Disney+. It is the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and belongs to the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Megan MacDonald.

Captain Marvel 2: Marvel Alliance is directed by Nia DaCosta, the new director of Candyman. Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson return to star, and Ms. Marvel Iman Vellani and Monica Teyonah Parris join the cast. Zawe Ashton (Betrayal) plays the villain.

"Captain Marvel 2: Marvel Alliance" was filmed in the United Kingdom, Italy, Los Angeles and New Jersey, and will be released in North American theaters on February 17, 2023.
